![]() Someone who had heard one particular sermon concerning such teachings said that during this exact same message another comment had been made to the effect that if we do not tithe we are robbing God. There have been statements coming from our former affiliation that teach that tithing is optional. We will cover the subject of tithingtoday. I am going to plod through this topic and, I hope, some of you, too, require this deliberate plodding along to get the meaning and understanding. Often I struggle through technical subjects and have to plod through them one step at a time to try to understand what God is saying. I feel they could do a much better job than I will do. Today's topic could be considered to fall on the technical side of scriptural instruction, and I usually would leave such a topic for better minds than mine. Every once in a while, however, they would have to speak on the subject of prophecy as the need arose. Some men might say that they do not like to speak on certain topics, such as prophecy. The topic of today's sermon is one that I would not normally tackle.
